Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Xuuri platform. By creating an account or using Xuuri, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

Xuuri is a platform that lets customers discover and request bookings with independent beauty and wellness businesses ("Merchants"), and gives those Merchants tools to manage their operations. Xuuri does not itself provide beauty or wellness services — those are provided by the independent Merchants you book with.

Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Xuuri. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you may use Xuuri only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the service.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account.

Bookings

A booking made through Xuuri is a request that the Merchant reviews and confirms. Xuuri does not guarantee availability, pricing, or the quality of any service. Prices shown are set by Merchants and may change. Cancellations, rescheduling and no-shows are subject to the relevant Merchant's policies.

Merchant responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for their listings, services, pricing, staff and for delivering services lawfully, safely and as described.

Merchant admission and platform safety

Businesses do not appear on Xuuri automatically. We review each business before it is published and we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to approve, decline, suspend or remove any business or listing — including to keep the platform safe for younger and more vulnerable users. Merchants must serve minors only in line with applicable law and with appropriate parental or guardian involvement and supervision. This review does not make Xuuri responsible for the services Merchants provide and is not a guarantee of any Merchant's conduct.

Customer responsibilities

When you request a booking, you agree to provide accurate details, honour the requests you make, and treat Merchants and their staff with respect.

Payments

Where payments are processed through the platform, they are handled by third-party payment processors and are subject to their terms. Many bookings are paid directly to the Merchant according to that Merchant's arrangements.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Xuuri for any unlawful, fraudulent, harmful or infringing purpose;
• harass, threaten or abuse other users, Merchants or staff;
• scrape, reverse-engineer, interfere with or disrupt the service; or
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.

Your content

You keep the rights to the content you submit, and you grant Xuuri a licence to host, store and display it as needed to operate the platform. You confirm you have the rights to any content you upload.

Intellectual property

The Xuuri name, logos and platform are owned by Xuuri. These Terms do not grant you any rights in them except to use the service as intended.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, Xuuri disclaims all warranties and is not responsible for the acts or omissions of Merchants or customers, or for the services Merchants provide.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xuuri will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Xuuri harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service or your breach of these Terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or to protect the platform and its users. You may stop using Xuuri at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda, and any disputes are subject to the courts of Uganda.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If you continue to use Xuuri after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
